To all readers,
The Indonesian Embassy in Washington DC through the Education and Culture Attache held a series of webinars from July to December 2020 in order to increase research and education cooperation between universities in Indonesia and the United States.
The implementation of the webinar series is supported by the LPDP (Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education or LPDP) of the Ministry of Finance and the Indonesian State University Chancellors Council (MRPTNI: Majelis Rektor Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Indonesia).
A four-serial webinar was conducted as follows:
–Bincang Karya (BIANKA) or Creation Talks for 13 times, presenting 23 doctoral program students, 1 alumni and 1 master level student and 18 representatives from universities from the United States where students study.
–Kitorang Bicara (KIBAR) or We Talks for 11 times, presenting 29 master program students and 2 doctoral level students as well as 13 university representatives from the United States where students study.
–Konsultasi Menembus Amerika Serikat dengan Beasiswa (Consultation Penetrating the United States with Scholarships) for 6 times, presenting 15 students and 3 alumni as speakers.
-US-Indonesia Research and Education Collaboration (USINDREC) for 3 times, presenting:
- 10 representatives of the US Universities in the fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math),
- 8 representatives of the US Universities in the fields of Social Sciences and
- one representative of the US University and three US’s communities in the fields of Arts and Culture.
